The RAM memory of the two terminals contains 2 GB. They also share the same operating system in the same version: Android 4.4 KitKat.

Cameras: they present a remarkable difference, since the Samsung has a main objective of 16 megapixels, while that of the Nexus 5 has 8 megapixels. Both count with autofocus and LED flash, although in the case of the Galaxy we also have functions such as Selective Focus (clearly capturing what you want, giving depth and professionalism to your snapshots), higher speed between shots and shots, and a very precise light sensor. Its front cameras have 2 megapixels, not negligible for taking any other photography or video call. Both have the ability to record video, in the case of the Nexus 5 at 1080p and 30 fps and in UHD 4K if we talk about the Galaxy S5.

Internal Memories: both devices have a 16 GB and a 32 GB model for sale, although the Galaxy has a micro SD card slot of up to 128 GB, while the Nexus lacks this feature.

Batteries: capacity 2800 mAh of the Samsung model is much larger than that of the LG, which contains 2100 mAh, so the difference between their autonomies will be noticed.

Connectivity: both terminals have basic networks such as 3G, WiFi or Bluetooth, in addition to the latest LTE / 4G technology.

Designs: Regarding size, the S5 has dimensions of 142 mm high x 72.5 mm wide x 8.1 mm thick. Its back has a texture of small perforations that give it originality and most importantly, comfort in the grip. Its IP67 certificate makes it a waterproof and dustproof terminal. We can find it available in four attractive colors: the classic black and white, in addition to gold or blue. The Nexus for its part has a larger size: 137.84 mm high × 69.17 mm wide × 8.59 mm thick and weighs 130 grams. Its back is made of plastic, which makes it comfortable to the touch and without slipping when in hand. We can find it in full black or white on the back and black on the front.

Availability and price: The general assessment that we can make of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is excellent, being able to find it valued between 649 and 689 euros depending on where we buy it (on the website of pccomponentes for example we have it for 665 or 679 euros depending on the color and 16 GB version). In conclusion, it is a high quality Smartphone but with an exorbitant price for the vast majority of users. The Nexus 5 at the moment we can find it on its official website for 349 euros (model 16 GB) and for 399 euros (model 32 GB); or a little cheaper (for 339 and 395 euros respectively) if we opt for the pccomponentes website again. We are therefore also talking about a smartphone that has excellent features, much cheaper than the S5 but also at a cost that is not within the reach of the public.
