Anonim

We continue with our comparisons with the Sony Xperia M2 as the main protagonist, this time we are going to compare it with the LG G2 Mini, a terminal with very similar prices and specifications in general, although each one has its strengths and weaknesses compared to the other. We will check the differences that really exist between both devices and we will see that they are very small.

Technical characteristics:

Screens: The difference in the screen of both terminals is important, not so much in size but in the quality of the panels used, superior in the case of LG. The Sony Xperia M2 mounts a 4.8-inch TFT panel with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, resulting in a density of 229 ppi and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the other hand, the LG G2 Mini mounts a 4.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, resulting in a density of 234 ppi and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.

Processors: The heart of both terminals is identical to each other, both terminals mount a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor manufactured in 28nm and formed by four Cortex A7 cores at a frequency of 1.2 GHz and the Adreno 305 GPU. Accompanying the processor we find in the two terminals 1 GB of RAM to guarantee excellent fluidity in its Android operating system, in the case of the Xperia M2 version 4.4.4 KitKat while the LG G2 Mini complies with Android 4.4.2 KitKat

Cameras: Regarding the optics of the terminals, we find the same specifications in the main camera, both have an 8-megapixel sensor with autofocus and LED flash capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps. As for the front camera, the differences are important in favor of the LG G2 Mini, which has a 2 megapixel sensor capable of recording video at 720p, while the Xperia M2 is content with a modest VGA sensor capable of recording at 480p.

Designs: Both terminals are made with a good plastic chassis with the difference that the Sony model does not allow removing the battery unlike the LG G2 Mini which is removable. Regarding its dimensions, the LG G2 Mini has a size of 129.6 mm high x 66 mm wide x 9.8 mm thick compared to 139.7 mm high x 71.1 mm wide x 8.6 mm thickness of Xperia M2

Connectivity: Both terminals offer 4G LTE and NFC in addition to 3G, A-GPS, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0.

Internal memories: Regarding their internal storage capacity, both terminals tie offering 8 GB expandable through microSD in up to 32 additional GB.

Batteries: the LG G2 Mini has a slightly higher capacity than the Xperia M2, with 2440 mAh and 2300 mAh respectively, so presumably the LG terminal will have a greater autonomy in addition to allowing the battery to be removed.

Availability and price:

The LG G2 Mini is sold for approximately 169 euros while the Sony Xperia M2 can be found for slightly higher than approximately 190 euros.
