Meet the sony phones that will receive android 7.0 nougat

Android 7.0 Nougat recently arrived at the Nexus terminals and now it is Sony that announces which devices will be compatible with this new Google mobile operating system.

The compatible Sony phones that will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update will be the following:

• Xperia Z3 + Xperia Z4 Tablet Xperia Z5 Xperia Z5 Compact Xperia Z5 Premium Xperia X Xperia XA Xperia XA Ultra Xperia X Performance

“Deploying the software is a phased process. Time and availability will vary by market and operator. Most models will be supported but there may be market or operator exceptions. ”

As it can be seen, Sony has decided that the terminals compatible with Android 7.0 are those that were released from 2015 onwards, being left without support other phones such as the Xperia Z3 or the Xperia M4 Aqua, which have sufficiently powerful hardware for this new OS but they still won't receive it.

At the moment the Japanese company has not given dates for the arrival of the updates in these teams but they comment that they are working as quickly as possible so that they are available as soon as possible.

Android 7.0 come to greatly improve the design part of the operating system, with special emphasis on the refinement of the menus to make them even easier to use for all kinds of audiences. Google comments that Android 7.0 Nougat will bring about 250 improvements over Marshmallow.
