This strike is on its way to being the largest suffered by Amazon, a few months ago similar cases were experienced in Germany, France and Italy. The difference with the one called in San Fernando, is that this has been the first to be preceded by a vote in the workers' assembly by an overwhelming majority of 75%. The unions criticize that Amazon does not offer guarantees of salary increases and aims to reduce specialist positions, with the abolition of positions and the distribution of their tasks among lower-ranking positions. Added to this is the fact that Amazon intends to reduce the price of overtime and eliminate coverage one hundred percent for 18 months due to a drop associated with the job.

It is noted that when the center was opened, absenteeism was much lower than now, which is practically double the average in the logistics sector. It is also pointed out that each worker at the center walks an average of 20 to 25 kilometers a day on their journey.
