Cooler Master has announced coinciding with this CES 2019 two new ranges of power supplies, its V Platinum and its XG Gold Advanced. Let's go see them.

Cooler Master V Platinum, manufactured by the prestigious Delta Electronics

We started talking about the renewal of the well-known V range, with three new sources of 850, 1000 and 1300W with 80 Plus Platinum certification. These are intended for the high-end market in view of their high efficiency, 10-year warranty, modular cable management, etc.

The brand has shown the interior of this font and you can clearly see who its manufacturer is, and it is Delta Electronics, perhaps the most reputed on the market among PSU enthusiasts and experts for the legendary durability of its products. Certainly, its interior is based on Antec's High Current Pro range, also manufactured by Delta.

The source also includes a switch to use 1-rail 12V or multiple modes. This is the best possible implementation of the multi-rail system, as it allows the most "normal" users to enjoy its added security features (12V OCP protection), while in the case of extreme overclockers that could overload some of the rails, It allows them to concentrate all the power in one.

Finally, it is worth mentioning the use of 16AWG gauge PCIe cables (thicker, most PSUs use 18AWG) and, of course, fan thermal control.

These sources will be available in March 2019 at prices between $ 200 and $ 300 depending on the version, which seem slightly high.

Cooler Master XG Gold Advanced, your first self-made sources

The second launch of Cooler Master, which had already been seen at Computex in 2018, is its XG Gold Advanced range , which stands out for being the first source designed entirely by Cooler Master and manufactured on its own (rented) production lines, which it is extremely interesting.

Also interesting is its LED panel that shows in real time the source load, fan speed and temperatures, 80 Plus Gold certified, 135mm fan with dynamic fluid bearings (the most durable) with RGB lighting compatible with ASUS AURA Sync, cables PCIe and 16AWG CPU, and 7 years warranty. It can deliver 100% of its power continuously at ambient temperatures of up to 50ÂșC.

This range will be available in May 2019 in 550, 650 and 750W versions, at prices that have not yet been announced.
