Google presents its new tool to upload, sort and store all kinds of files and photos. Under the name of Backup and synchronization (Backup and sync for Google Photos and Google Drive in English), this new tool is now available in Spain.

We can download it now on both Windows and MacOS computers. We can download either the version for Google Photos or the version for Google Drive. This is a regular installation, as you are used to doing. Once installed, we have to log in with our Google account.
How to use backup and sync
Once we have done that and we are already in the tool, we can start. After that we will be able to choose the folders that we want to upload to the cloud. If we want a specific folder we can do that. By default, the tool proposes to upload everything (documents, images and desktop). So you choose what you want to upload.
We can also upload photos and videos to Google Photos. And it allows us to upload photos in maximum quality or in normal quality. Although the good thing about choosing maximum quality is that there is free unlimited storage. So if we have many images, it can be a good option. The last thing we must configure is the folder with which My unit will be synchronized. Again we can choose the one that suits us best.
We have 15 GB for free, the same that Google offers with Google Drive. But, we can bet on more size, although paying. Prices are 100GB for 1.99 euros per month, 1TB for 9.99 euros per month, 2TB for 19.99 euros per month, 10TB for 99.99 euros per month and 20TB for 199.99 euros per month.
