Core i7 8086k is out now in the uk

It has been 40 years since Intel launched the 8086 processor, the first x86 model in the world and that ushered in a new era in computing. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of this Intel 8086 processor, the manufacturer has officially released its limited edition Core i7 8086K processor, a 6-core model unlocked for overclocking with a clock speed of 5 GHz as standard.

The Core i7 8086K is the first Intel CPU to boost its turbo frequency up to 5 GHz in its stock configuration, allowing it to deliver the highest single-core performance to date. This processor has the multiplier unlocked, which means that the user will be able to overclock and further improve its performance. It includes the same Intel UHD 630 graphics as the Core i7 8700K, so the only difference between the two is the operating frequency.
