Corsair a500, new cpu cooler with double ventilation

Corsair plunges back into the world of air cooling with the dual-fan A500 CPU cooler capable of cooling a processor down to a TDP of 250W.

Corsair announces the A500 air cooler and renews its AIO line

At CES 2020, Corsair announced its latest foray into the world of CPU cooling with the A500 cooler. This $ 100 high-performance CPU cooler is equipped with two Corsair ML120 magnetic levitation fans, running between 400 and 2400 RPM, and drawing air through a very dense tower supported by a heat pipe design copper "quad direct contact", that is, it has four copper tubes that directly touch the CPU.

The dark brushed aluminum tower also features a “ratcheting slide-and-lock fan mount” system that allows the height of the fan to be adjusted to improve memory compatibility. According to Corsair, the A500 is impressively easy to install, and is also compatible with the AM4, AM3, FM2, LGA115x and LGA20xx CPUs, although unfortunately it is not compatible with the sTR4 platform.

In addition, Corsair is also rolling out an upgrade to its AIO line, with the H100i, H115i and H150i RGB PRO XT series liquid coolers at 240mm, 280mm and 360mm respectively. Like the A500, they all come with 120mm or 140mm variants of Corsair's impressive ML magnetic levitation fans. The H150i RGB PRO XT is the best-performing AIO the company currently offers thanks to the increased radiator surface area that works in tandem with those three 120mm fans.

Of course, you also get the usual sleeve tube and full compatibility with Corsair's iCUE software suite, with 16 individually addressable RGB LEDs that are standardized in each CPU block.

The Corsair A500 and all RGB PRO XT AIOs are now available worldwide.
