A month ago a news was released in which the CEO, CTO and the Head of Marketing (responsible for marketing), among others, of EK Water Blocks were leaving the company. Speculation arose from readers about what could have happened behind the scenes to bring about such a dramatic change, especially at a time when the numbers are grinning at EK Water Blocks.

Since then, EKWB did exactly what it promised and delivered new products on time, including its new Fluid Gaming line, as well as the introduction of a new modular AIO MLC series. It seems that, at least in the short term, they have not been affected.
Today we learn that ex-CEO Mark Tanko and ex-CTO Niko Tivadar officially join CORSAIR. Mark is now "CORSAIR Vice President & CEO", while Niko is "CORSAIR Engineering Director".
This year, CORSAIR showed some water-cooling components at Computex, stemming from a cooperation agreement with Aqua Computer. With the acquisition of new talents EK Water Blocks, everything suggests that CORSAIR is preparing to offer its own line of liquid cooling products. This makes sense since other companies have already done so, including Phanteks with its Glacier series, and Thermaltake with its Pacific lineup.
2018 will represent new challenges for the California-based company, one of the leaders in PC components and peripherals.
