Over the past year, RAM prices have more or less stabilized at reasonable prices. Either way, Corsair is excited to launch VENGEANCE LPX 32GB memory kits, culminating in a spacious 256GB DDR4-2400 kit that costs about $ 1, 200.

VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 memories arrive in 32GB modules

That's more than some full-featured PCs cost, although if you're sticking a $ 1, 200 RAM kit in a $ 500 setup, that wouldn't make much sense. It is clear that these memories are for those high-end (and expensive) PCs.

High-capacity kits are not new, though they are mostly aimed at servers and workstations. These new 32GB Vengeance models are consumer kits, and Corsair says they have been "thoroughly tested to verify their broad compatibility with most current DDR4 motherboards."

The Corsair 256GB Kit consists of eight 32GB modules, but lower capacity (and less expensive) kits are available. On the other hand, an even more expensive kit will be offered: the product page is offline at the moment, but Corsair is referring to a faster version of its 256GB kit at 2, 666MHz.
