Corsair launches a set of double injection pbt keycaps

Corsair has announced the launch of a new set of keycaps made of PBT and a double injection design that makes them much more resistant to the passage of time, thereby solving one of the problems of mechanical keyboards.

Mechanical keyboard users know of the problems of worn keycaps, especially the case for RGB keyboard users, where the keys are made of transparent ABS plastic and painted black with laser engraved keys. Over time, these keycaps wear out and become oily through use, resulting in keycaps that look shiny or, in extreme cases, key markings wear down completely.

Corsair has decided to address this problem with the launch of new aftermarket keycap designs that go for a dual injection design using PBT plastic to ensure these keys are tough and gloss resistant. These keycaps will come in black and white versions, with a clear material to make an internal insert to maintain RGB functionality.

These new dual injection PBT keys will not be painted, ensuring a fade resistant design that will stand the test of time. These keys will also come with increased wall thicknesses, which will help prevent damage when cleaning buttons are removed.

The new Corsair keycaps are designed to be compatible with configurations of 104 EE configurations. USA And in EU / UK 105 configurations , the kits are compatible with the K95, K70, K65, K63 and STRAFE series keyboards. The price of this new set of keys is approximately 40 euros.
