Corsair Obsidian Series 1000D is a massive chassis measuring almost 700mm in depth and height and over 300mm in width. The interior is accessible from both sides through hinged panels carved from aluminum and tempered glass. Its triple camera design can accommodate two complete systems inside, one with a motherboard format up to E-ATX with an ATX power supply up to 220mm long and the second with a mini-ITX motherboard with a source SFX or SFX-L.

Included in this Corsair Obsidian Series 1000D is a Corsair Commander Pro fan and lighting controller, which is controllable by Corsair Link software via a USB connection. This chassis supports up to 20 fans and supports mounting of two 480mm radiators and two 420mm radiators at the same time, it also allows four 480mm models with the proper accessories.

Its tool-free modular mounting trays help users mount the fans to the front or roof of the chassis. No standard fan is included, assuming that the most demanding users will want to choose their own. Other features include top, front and bottom dust filters and the ability to accommodate up to five 3.5 "HDDs and six 2.5" SSDs, expandable to eight with additional trays.

The front panel includes RGB LED lighting, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C ports, and four USB 3.0 ports. We continue with four PCIe expansion slots that can be rotated so that the main system supports vertical mounting of the GPU. Corsair Obsidian Series 1000D goes on sale for an approximate price of 499 euros.
