Cougar introduces a major innovation with the DarkBlader case, an E-ATX compatible tower model that will be offered on the DarkBlader-G and DarkBlader-S models .

The G model has tempered glass while the S model refers to it being a 'silent' model. In the latter case, the front is provided with three aluminum profiles that should allow air to pass through quite well, at least on its left side.

The case does indeed offer a rather elaborate look that will not be unanimously appreciated, but we can only appreciate Cougar's constant effort for some time now to present different boxes with interesting designs.

Identical, except for the color of the front panel and the dash that hides the cables and allows the installation of a card holder, the DarkBlader boxes measure 523 x 232 x 518 mm with plenty of space inside.

The case can house many fans to maximize component cooling - three 120mm or 140mm at the front, two 140mm or three 120mm at the top, plus one 120mm at the rear. With liquid cooling, you can choose a maximum radiator of 360 mm.

Once opened, the chassis offers great possibilities with 8 + 2 PCI mounts, a removable plate for a pump, enough to install four 3.5 ″ or 2.5 ″ disks through two bays under the power bay and two plates behind the motherboard, plus many holes for cable management.

There is a RGB controller supporting 5V RGB sync, with a default control on the front lighting and connectors, installed on the left side of the front panel.

We can install 380mm graphics cards, 170mm for the processor heat sink and 200mm for the power supply.

The boxes are now available in some European countries for around 130 euros.
