Creative Technology Ltd announced last year the Sound BlasterX Gaming range. The latest helmets to arrive in Spain in this range will be its flagship in e-sports, the Sound BlasterX H7 model, a USB headset with 7.1 surround high definition sound; 24 bit 96 kHz analog digital converter; and configured in its hardware for e-sports, thanks to X-Plus technology.

Sound BlasterX H7

The X-Plus system is a new technology, included by default in the hardware of the H7, which allows you to hear your opponents earlier and better. Reduce ambient or music sounds to a minimum and multiply the sound of your footsteps' footsteps, and all voices. In this way, the sounds that really interest us are higher than normal and thus you get an advantage that can be definitive in titles like Counter-Strike, Battelfield 4, Overwatch or Call of Duty.

The user who wants to use these helmets for other functions than e-sports will have to use the Acoustic Engine Pro software, included, to modify their audio profile (music, movies, other video games), since by default, they are configured to get the best performance for FPS, and team competitions, in electronic sports.

Every detail of the design of the Sound BlasterX H7 was analyzed according to the feedback of professional players, as well as features most demanded by the market. Two of the most important features of a gaming headset are durability and comfort.

At its core, the Sound BlasterX H7 features a streamlined design: fewer parts means less weight, and featuring a single piece of highly flexible reinforced steel for a precise and comfortable fit. The earphones are lined with leather, and offer a perfect seal against unwanted ambient noise.

The 50mm full spectrum speakers deliver 24-bit / 96kHz high definition digital audio and one of the best 7.1 surround sounds. The Sound BlasterX H7 also integrates a high-quality, detachable, noise-canceling microphone so we have crystal-clear conversations within games. The headphones also feature an OFC (oxygen free copper) USB / analog nylon braided cable, offering two connectivity options. This means that you can connect them to any platform, such as a PC / Mac via USB or mobile devices and consoles using the analog cable.

BlasterX Acoustic Engine Pro and Scout Mode

The software for the H7 Sound BlasterX Acoustic Engine allows players to customize their audio profiles depending on the genre they are playing. The software is designed to intelligently reduce distractions and enhance the important audio of detail in games, giving players an added advantage.

For example, in first person shooting games, FPS, the perception of the environment that surrounds us increases; in action-adventure games, realism is enhanced for a cinematic experience; In real-time strategy mode, clarity is enhanced and distractions are reduced so that players are focused at all times; And in driving games, details like wheel sounds are magnified as the car competes, allowing players to notice differences in racing.
