Crucial announces its ms200 and bx100 ssds
The manufacturer of SSD storage units Crucial has expanded the number of devices in its catalog with the launch of the new MX200 and BX100 SSDs to satisfy all users.
First we have the Crucial BX100 series coming in different versions with storage capacities of 120 GB, 250 GB, 500 GB and 1 TB and aggressive prices of approximately 65, 105, 190 and 385 euros. These new devices make use of the Silicon Motion SM2246EN controller, which enables performance figures of 535 MB / s in sequential read and 450 MB / s in sequential write. For its part, the performance in random read / write has not been disclosed.
The new Crucial MX200 series comes only in capacities of 250 GB, 500 GB and 1 TB of storage with prices of approximately 135, 240 and 450 euros. In this case, they have a higher performance controller, which is capable of reaching performance figures of 555 MB / s and 500 MB / s in sequential reading and writing, respectively. In this case, its performance in random read / write has been revealed, reaching 100, 000 and 87, 000 IOPS respectively.
