Cryorig announces new c7 g and rgb cpu heatsinks

The Cryorig C7 heatsink was introduced last year and is now receiving two new models; C7 RGB and C7 G. Despite the company's financial woes due to the U.S.-China trade war, Cryorig continues to launch new products, which is good news.

Cryorig C7 G and RGB are new low-profile coolers

Refrigeration specialist Cryorig has expanded its C7 product range with two new iterations. The C7 RGB features an RGB-lit fan, while the C7 G comes with a graphene coating.

The C7 RGB / G are identical to the original C7 in terms of construction. They have a high air flow design and measure 97 x 97 x 47mm, so we will probably find it in compact PC constructions where space is a luxury. Cryorig goes on to guarantee that the C7, regardless of model, will not interfere with its motherboard memory slots or the first PCIe slot.

The cooler contacts the processor through a pure nickel-plated copper plate. Heat is transferred through four 6mm heatpipes to the aluminum heatsink, consisting of up to 57 fins of the same material. Cryorig claims that its C7 CPU coolers perform up to 25% better than Intel's stock coolers, while being 20% ​​quieter.

The 'G' variant is rated at a TDP of 125W, which is 25W more than the C7 RGB. The fan rotates between 600 and 2, 500 RPM with an air flow of 40.5 CFM and an air pressure in the range of 2.8 mmH2O. The fan noise level is placed around 30 dBA.
