Cryorig Frostbit is a heatsink consisting of two pieces of aluminum that are joined by a 6mm copper heatpipe, thereby making it the most advanced heatsink ever made to be used in M.2 SSDs. the two aluminum pieces have a finned design to maximize the heat exchange surface, thus maximizing its cooling capacity. The upper aluminum part has a 36-fin radiator design, which achieves a large air contact surface to transfer a lot of heat to it.

The set reaches measurements of 72 x 26.3 x 57 mm and a weight of 56 grams, with its characteristics it is capable of handling up to 12W of heat generated, something that will help to greatly reduce the temperature of faster M.2 SSDs of the market, which is not strange that they reach 80ºC or even more when they are operating intensively for long periods of time.

The new Cryorig Frostbit heatsink should be compatible with all M.2 SSDs on the market, its price has not been announced so we will have to wait a little longer to know how much we will have to pay for it. We may have new details at the Computex taking place later this May in Taipei.
