Cryorig is set to launch its Taku mini-ITX chassis in the first quarter of 2018.
The Taku chassis will be available in early 2018
In May of this year, Cryorig had launched a Kickstarter for Taku, a horizontal PC chassis that can also act as a support for any monitor, offering users more possibilities to save workspace or leisure, at the same time that it can be fully upgradeable.
This Kickstarter didn't even manage to reach half of the $ 100, 000 they were asking for, but this has not deterred Cryorig, who now finally launched it on his own. The company plans to launch Taku worldwide in early 2018, priced at $ 299. It is slated to arrive in Taiwan, Japan and the USA first. USA in December, but only in limited quantities.
Cryorig has designed the Taku to support a SFX / SFX-L PSU, an ITX motherboard, a full-size GPU, and up to three storage units (2x 2.5-inch 1x 3.5-inch), while maintaining a factor compactly and providing an elegant and minimalist feel.
The chassis is robust enough to support a monitor of up to 15 kilos and a keyboard can be positioned under the chassis (as can be seen in the image) saving even more space on our desk (or where you position it).
Taku is a chassis designed by Cryorig, but manufactured by Lian Li, which means that users can expect a well-built design with the same attention to detail as Lian Li's own chassis.
