Already shown at Computex, Deepcool has finally released its new MATREXX 55 box with ATX format, which claims to be one of the cheapest tempered glass models on the market.

Deepcool MATREXX 55, tempered glass less than 40 euros

The most differential point of this extremely cheap chassis is the use of a 4mm thick tempered glass side panel, unlike the plastic used in most of the competitors. This chassis is compatible with boards up to E-ATX.

It appears that the box will not include fans, although we do not have this information. If anything, chances are it only includes one or two basic fans.

Moving to the front, we see that the pop-up transparent front has been chosen (we do not know if that part is tempered glass… ) with an opaque band on the right and an RGB led strip that, combined, give a personal touch to the box. In this case, air enters through holes on both sides, and not directly at the front, something that is a fairly common form of cooling.

Regarding compatibility and accessories, we have an aforementioned RGB LED strip accompanied by an RGB controller. The power supply area does not have a fairing but hopefully at least the box offers good possibilities of organizing the wiring. The support of fans is 2x 120 / 140mm above, 1x120mm at the back and 3x 120 / 140mm at the front, being able to install 120/140/240 / 280mm radiators at the front and above, or 120mm at the back. In this sense, it exceeds some more expensive boxes.

The price of this box, as we have already said, is less than 40 euros. Specifically, a price of $ 39.99 has been announced, which is expected to become the same in euros. It should hit the market soon.

For this price, you can't expect the best quality materials, but it looks like we'll see decent functionality and good design in this Deepcool MATREXX 55.
