We continue with Computex 2019 with the products of the Chinese company DeepCool . The company was born more than two decades ago and since then has created solutions for cooling equipment. At Computex this year we have been presented with updates for three of its product lines and here we will see the DeepCool CASTLE range .

DeepCool CASTLE, quality control cooling

The DeepCool brand brings us an update of its CASTLE line, the DeepCool CASTLE 240RGB V2 and 360RGB V2 , which are already on sale, and the 240RGB EX and 360RGB EX, who will come out throughout the year.

The Chinese company has specialized in equipment refrigeration from its earliest beginnings, which is why it has a good track record behind it. So much so, that its liquid and classic refrigeration products are probably over a hundred.

Refrigeration rescues ideas that have previously worked for them, such as controlling the lighting with a remote control, but advances with new technologies such as the 'Anti-Leak Tech' .

In this way we have as a result a more refined, better and updated product to the increasingly demanding requirements of the present.

As in the first version of the product, we have RGB lighting for both the fans and the pump and, in addition to this, it mounts double-window panels for more natural and attractive lighting.

Finally, we want to talk a little about the interior of the cooling system. DeepCool tells us about its cooling block, which is made of pure copper and is 'ultra-large'. With it we can dissipate the heat of the most popular processors from Intel and AMD (including the ThreadRipper). In addition, they also tell us about E-shaped micro-water channels that serve to have more cooling surface and increase efficiency.

We will have two main versions in the V2 version and in the EX : a system with two fans and a system with three fans. They all have nine blades and a diameter of 120mm .

The decision: Liquid or classic

We are at a strange point in history. The milestones that we have been able to reach in technology are incredible and the refrigeration is one of them. Right now, it looks like we've hit the dissipation / decibel top, making it hard to push the limit without setting off alarms in our ears.

Liquid refrigerations are often chosen to keep systems that reach high temperatures in line, since they are capable of better transporting heat. That is why if your goal is to touch low temperatures, you will not get a very different result than a classic heatsink.

On the other hand, if you are going to overclock and other similar projects, a refrigeration of this style can help you. It will always be better to make a personalized one, since it is more efficient and adapted to the requirements of the team, but that also entails more money, time, knowledge and the stress of being broken.

This is where these preassembled systems come in, saving you a lot of headaches and doing their job well.

Would you trust your processor to a DeepCool CASTLE ? What do you think of liquid cooling? Share your experiences and more in the comments!
