Dell has unveiled its new line of 'workstation' ultrabooks with huge amounts of RAM. These are the new Dell Precision 7530 and Precision 7730, which offer more than just a simple CPU upgrade.

Precision 7530 and 7730 include up to 128GB of RAM

The new generation of Intel Coffee Lake CPU is powering these laptops, using a powerful 6-core Intel Core i9-8950HK. Dell is serious about offering great computing power, but accompanying this processor, has wanted to add an unusual amount of RAM, as to be left over in any task that we propose.

A very important advantage of mobile workstations is the amount of RAM they can take: With four SO-DIMM slots, Precision 7000 series workstations can support up to 64GB of DDR4-2666 memory, and will soon be able to Support up to 128GB, as Dell has announced that there will soon be 32GB SO-DIMMs.

In addition to the new CPUs, the GPUs are also updated. The 17-inch Precision 7730 model gets a little update in this area, but the smaller Precision 7530 gets a huge update. The 15-inch model now offers the Quadro P3200. With previous generations, the Quadro 3000 class was only available in the 17-inch model, this seems to be a breakthrough.

The US launch of the new Precision 7000 series will take place on May 22. The Precision 7530 base price starts at $ 1, 189. The Precision 7730 starts at $ 1, 509.
