Turn off automatic updates in windows 10

Table of contents:

Anonim

Windows 10 has the defect of not being able to disable automatic updates, something that many users do not like this new philosophy on the part of Microsoft since they are constantly updating the operating system without their consent.

The case also occurs with drivers that have not been updated correctly during the migration or with the new update it is throwing errors: screen freezing, blue screenshots or unexpected restarts. For this, Windows offers us the application wushowhide.diagcab for free. I am going to divide this articles into two sections: corrupt drivers and deactivating updates.

Corrupt drivers

The first thing to do is identify the corrupt driver. For this we go to control panel -> system tools -> device manager. Here we locate the problem and press the right button, choosing the uninstall option. We will install the updated driver with Windows 10 support through software.

Deactivate updates

If the team has already installed updates and we want to remove some, which I do not recommend, because there are still many bugs, we must go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Installed updates and we will select the updates we want to uninstall, and we will press to uninstall.

So that they do not install again, we will download the application wushowhide.diagcab for free at the following link.

Once we open the program, a troubleshooting will be executed in which we can choose to hide the drivers we need or the updates that are giving us problems.
