France has carried out a study with a total of 51 different smartphones. The purpose of it was to determine which of them emitted the electromagnetic radiation allowed and which did not. From this test, there have been eight phones that have exceeded the maximum allowed by law, which is set at 2 W / kg. Some of them known to users.

In the case of the European Union, any phone that exceeds this limit cannot be marketed. The risk of doing so is to face a fine. The eight test phones that exceeded the limit have taken measures in this regard.

Radiation test in France

As we have said, among the phones whose radiation level was higher than allowed, there are some phones that probably sound familiar to you, because they are for sale in Spain and are from brands that are relatively well-known. This is the list:

  • Huawei Honor 8 with 2.11 W / kg emission Wilo View with 2.44 W / kg emission Orange HAPI with 2.1 W / kg emission NEFFOS X1 TP902 with 2.52 W / kg emission Echo Star Plus with 2.05 W / kg emission Alcatel PIXI 4-6 ″ with 2.04 W / kg emissions Wiko Tommy 2 with 2.46 W / kg emission Hisense F23 with 2.13 W / kg emissions

The Oranfe and NEFFOS phones have been withdrawn by the companies. The rest of the brands have released an update to reduce radiation from the phones. This is something that is achieved by reducing the power of the antennas. Therefore, users are likely to experience coverage issues as a result. This update would have already been made available to consumers.
