This last function can have its logic for those of us who have the mobile on the table and do not want to pick it up, simply access it without touching anything. For me, it is a bit silly, but it is one more function and we appreciate it.

As for the GPS location, we have to connect the mobile to the P C, so we think it makes no sense . Why find out the location of the mobile if we have it in front of us? In case of losing our smartphone, this option loses all the sense of the world. Not to mention that it is an exclusive function for iOS devices.

Finally, I would like to mention that when we connect our mobile to the PC, we download a kind of app called MobileGo that, personally, I don't like at all. Supposedly, it is an app to optimize the performance of our mobile, but you do not find out that you have it until you have the smartphone connected.

I have had a problem with that application, and that is that for wanting to close menus, you can see that I have given permission for a drop-down menu to appear by the gesture of sliding your finger from the lower right corner upwards.

I have noticed this when I wanted to record an audio on WhatsApp: when I slid my finger up to keep the voice recording open, the menu was displayed, damaging the experience. I tell you so that you take it into account.

Once installed, its interface is quite clean and pretty. We do not have a very loaded main menu, summarizing its functions in 6 basic modules. However, we are struck by the " Rooting " module, as it seems curious to me that they offer such a tool in general. I say this because, depending on the manufacturer of the terminal, the rooting process usually varies.

Personally, I have not tried " rooting " because I would lose Samsung Pay, but it is a curious option that has caught my attention and that I did not expect to see in a mobile management or administration app.

In principle, everything is the same as in the PC application, but when we download an application to the mobile we hope it has everything, right? In this case, it is not so because the following happens.

We have to download another program on the PC, not serving the one that we have downloaded from the beginning. Therefore, it is more difficult for us to manage our mobile from the app, than from the PC program. The truth is that it does not reach the approval of the users. In the iOS App Store we have not found the app as is, only a similar one with the same name called Photo Transfer. We cannot buy it because it is not the same, nor have we used it.

Conclusions

First of all, we have a very interesting PC program with many functions and that you don't need a mobile app to be able to copy, restore, recover or transfer files from your smartphone to your PC. We cannot say the same for the Android app: it needs us to install programs on the PC to perform any function, except for root.

We liked the dr.fone on PC, although we think it may have improvements. At first, we were surprised about the modules, but then we liked it. We have used the program a little and everything was transferred smoothly and quickly. We do not see much coherence in the geolocation tool when we have to connect the mobile to the PC to do everything. We miss a bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection.

Secondly, the mobile application seems very improvable to us. You need the PC to do everything and its configuration section could offer more things. We have been positively surprised by the " Root " option , although we don't know if it will work well.

In short, the PC program is improvable, but it is quite good; The mobile app needs to be improved a lot because it does not offer great competition against its rivals. Currently you can buy this application at 40% ~ 50% for Christmas (December 18 to June 15, 2020).
