The Israeli company Urban Aeronáutica has created the AirMule, a drone capable of carrying up to half a ton or rather two crew members . The equipment was developed mainly for military use, since it can reach places that are difficult to access, where conventional helicopters do not reach.

AirMule will replace the helicopter

Still in testing, more than 2016 units not yet made are expected to be made for potential buyers. During the flight, the Israeli drone can reach speeds of up to 180 km / h.

Despite the interesting proposal for drone enthusiasts, there are a few obstacles to keep in mind.

The AirMule suffer from problems that affect their younger siblings, the flight distance is limited to 49 km, while helicopters have practically no limits.

In tests so far, the AirMule flies completely autonomously: takeoff, through maneuvers, until landing, everything is done by the device's navigation system.

According to the creators, the Airmule is capable of flight, even in turbulent weather, resisting winds of up to 88 km / h. If the air currents are even larger, or a disaster occurs, the device carries a parachute system to cushion potential falls.
