E3 2017 - the electronic arts conference.

3… 2… 1… Electronic Arts kicks off E3 2017. This year EA has it quite difficult, because it is very difficult to get titles per year and in a year with the same hardware it does not give you to make big changes. Next, I will leave you my impressions of this conference, but informing you that I am not fans of the sports genre, but since I am an editor I will give my objective vision (something that is fashionable to say that it is impossible to do). Madden 18, FIFA 18 and NBA Live 18 at E3 2017

We return for another year with Madden 18, FIFA 18 and NBA Live 18. I know that these games are very successful for various types of players (competitive, casual, kids, adults), but EA has only one year to improve 3 titles with hardware similar to last year. I like to call these games annual expansions than full games.

EA has given a lot of emphasis that thanks to Project Scorpio we will have a great graphic improvement for the users of said console. In addition, they have also talked about improving player control and all its playable section.

What's new in these games have been the sequel to FIFA 17 mode in FIFA 18 and a story mode for Madden and NBA Live 18 career mode trying to get back street games.

New Expansion of "Battlefield 1"

This expansion is EA's smartest move for its famous franchise. Call of Duty has advanced on the theme of World War 2, so they have preferred to continue exploiting the lore of World War 1 by uniting the Russians.

"In The Name Of Tsar" will be the name of this expansion that will be " the widest range delivered to date ". You will be able to use the Russians with them their weapons, vehicles, missions more characteristic of this historical context.

As in the past year, Battlefield 1 is still looking fabulous, and taking advantage of that they have released 6 new maps in night mode that already exist to the existing ones that can be downloaded in September.

"Need For Speed: PayBack", Fast & Furious

Speaking of mythical franchises, we could not leave this aside. Again it is noticeable that the EA graphics engine does a great job in the photorealistic scenarios, which each year manages to earn me a little more compared to the others.

The campaign mode of this game will be Open World and it seems to tell a story with a lot of action, adrenaline and a lot of hooligan in the Fast & Furious style. The release of 'Need for Speed: Payback' is scheduled for November 10 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

"Star Wars BattleFront II" adds what the first does not have

Star Wars is back for another year and this time they seem to have heard the criticism of their players from poor BattleFront I. For this new installment they claim to bring 3 times more content, many improved playable multiplayer and a single player campaign mode.

Honestly, until I play it, I don't want to talk much about it because I was very disappointed in the first one, but the trailer and its 30 min of gameplays 20 vs 20 of the conference looks great. Its launch is scheduled for November 2017.

EA's two Crown Jewels

The indie titled " A Way Out " will be a cooperative game, if you read correctly. I have not seen a cooperative game for many and many years and it is something that in Online mode was extinguishing.

The plot reinforces this mode, since we are one of the two characters, the other will be handled by our friend, with the mission to get out of prison. Thanks to this context we will see many types of situations to overcome with an innovative system that, although cooperative, each character is played in a unique way. That is, while you are involved in a kinematics, your partner can move to another part or spit it out in the form of scripts.

To top it off, the game comes from the creators of " Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons " a game that stands out for the cooperation of its two protagonists to overcome obstacles. It will be available in early 2018 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

BioWare's new game, called Anthem, has only left us a small teaser that will continue at the Microsoft conference. Are they telling us that Xbox One will finally have an exclusive at the height of Horizon zero ? I hope it is not another Andromeda.

My conclusions

As always, EA is Jack, Horse and King in his E3s. You show the annual sports game, although it must be said that they are "innovating" in their story modes. Then it shows your new BattleField or the expansion of the previous one if the title is very recent. A little later it shows some sequel, improvement, correction of famous titles. And finally it shows something shocking that sometimes stays in the air and we do not know more about it and other times it disappoints like the Andromeda.

Of course, the overall quality of all their games is among the highest in the Industry. I just hope that this year we hope that indie and her new IP will be at the height of the study.
