From China comes this atypical design computer that we are used to, it looks like an alarm clock but it hides inside a PC with the perfectly operating Windows 10 operating system. Called ECDREAM V6W, it is a low-power computer capable of offering optimal Windows performance and great portability.

ECDREAM V6W, One PC and Alarm Clock for $ 199

ECDREAM V6W inside is mounting an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor based on the Cherry Trail architecture with four cores and an Intel HD GPU, about 2GB of RAM (minimum for Windows 10 to work optimally) and 32GB of storage space. Storage that can be expanded with MicroSD memory cards. It comes with a 3.5mm jack connector for headphones, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0 technology (which could not be missing) along with four generous USB 3.0 ports and HDMI output.

ECDREAM V6W surprises with a modest 2 megapixel front camera and built-in microphone for video calls. Perhaps the most interesting, and perhaps curious, part of this ECDREAM V6W proposal is the inclusion of Windows 10 and Ubuntu with dual boot, which we did not expect from a laptop of these characteristics. It is possible that the inclusion of Ubuntu is due to the low amount of RAM (2GB), giving users the possibility of using an operating system that works more smoothly than Windows 10 with the characteristics of this equipment.

Back of the ECDREAM V6W, complete in terms of connectivity

Measuring 119 centimeters high and 78 x 78 centimeters wide, this attractive alarm clock and Windows 10 PC is being marketed in China for $ 199. An interesting price but not irresistible.
