Eizo has announced its new RadiForce RX660 monitor with a size of 30 inches and a high resolution of 6 megapixels that makes it very suitable for the use of multiple applications at the same time, something so fashionable today. It is the direct successor to the RadiForce RX650 and includes new technologies such as Work-and-Flow which is part of the RadiCS LE software and which allows displaying two different videos on the same monitor on a split screen. This makes it a monitor specially indicated for radiology although surely many users will be able to benefit from it.

Eizo RadiForce RX660: the monitor that allows you to use two PCs with a single keyboard and mouse

Thanks to this latest technology we can save a monitor that is not used frequently with the consequent saving in space and money. This technology is very easily operated with the cursor from one of the corners and also allows users to use the same monitor on two different PCs using only a keyboard and a mouse. The user only needs to move the cursor on the screen to quickly start working on another PC. An important technology for work environments that will allow to eliminate the barriers between different teams.

We recommend our guide to the best PC monitors.

Compared to its predecessor, the RadiForce RX660 is based on a more compact design in which the side frames and thickness have been reduced by 9.5mm and 56.5mm respectively. The power supply has also been reduced and is now integrated within the monitor itself for much more comfortable use. With all this we have a new monitor that takes up 23% less space and is 6 Kg lighter for easier installation. The monitor is equipped with a video input in the form of DisplayPort 1.2 and several outputs with the same interface to allow the connection of several monitors in a chain in a very simple way.

Finally we highlight the Sharpness Recovery technology that allows to restore the image quality that is often lost due to the use with high levels of brightness required in medical environments. The RadiForce RX660 will go on sale in February 2017.
