EK Water Blocks, the manufacturer of high-quality liquid cooling equipment, has just announced its new EK Annihilator EX / EP waterblock specially developed for Intel LGA 3647 (Socket P) processors.

The entire CPU block was designed from the ground up to meet the requirements of the new socket and to integrate multiple connectivity options for the server rack. That being said, the new server CPU water block supports 1U chassis type for use with server-type motherboards and workstations.

With the launch by Intel of the new generation of Skylake- based HEDT Xeon and Skylake-E CPUs with an LGA 3647 socket, the need arose for a water block with a larger contact surface. The design goal of the new EK EX / EP annihilator water block was to cover the entire IHS of Intel HEDT processors. The EK Annihilator EX / EP water block has a total of 6 ports, allowing versatile connectivity options. Two top ports have standard G1 / 4 inch thread, while side ports have G3 / 8 inch thread.
