EK Water Blocks has launched a new EK-FC R9-390X TF5 full coverage water block for the demanding MSI Radeon R9 390X GAMING 8G graphics card that will allow the most demanding to extract its full potential.

The EK-FC R9-390X TF5 is a high-performance waterblock that aims to replace the TwinFrozr V heatsink to improve card temperatures and overclock performance. The block covers the entire PCB and allows the most critical components like the GPU, memory chips and VRM to be cooled to achieve higher frequencies without frying them.

The base of the EK-FC R9-390X TF5 is constructed of high quality nickel plated electrolytic copper and the upper part is available in POM Acetal and Acrylic at the user's choice. Includes pre-installed screws for easier mounting of the block on the graphics card. The block design has been optimized to prevent reverse flow of water that impairs performance and offers great hydraulic performance so it doesn't suffer in low power pumps.

EK offers users a retention Backplate made of anodized aluminum that helps cool the PCB components located on the back.

The block in its two versions is available for 123 euros and the backplate for approximately 30 euros.
