Ek Releases New Versions of Its M.2 Disc Heat Sinks

One of the problems that M.2 format SSDs face is overheating, superior to the 2.5-inch models and that can affect their performance in addition to reducing the useful life in extreme cases. To avoid this, EK made a heatsink available to users, which now comes in new color versions to improve aesthetics.

These new EK heatsinks for M.2 drives are still a piece of aluminum fins that sits on top of the PCB to help remove heat generated by the controller and NAND Flash memory chips, are available in various colors for that each user can freely choose the one that most interests them according to the components they have installed in their system.

M.2 SATA and NVMe drives: All information and recommended models
