EK Water Blocks has announced the launch of a new full coverage water block for high-end graphics cards, this time it is a model compatible with the new AMD Radeon RX Vega that have been recently announced to stand up to the GeForce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080.

AMD Radeon RX Vega already has an EK block

EK's new water block for AMD Radeon RX Vega allows the card to be transformed into a single-slot design while providing excellent cooling capacity to keep it as cool as possible in operation, something that will help improve its overclock margins and therefore performance. Like all EK blocks it is based on a special design that optimizes the circulation of the refrigerant fluid to the maximum to avoid reverse flow and ensure excellent performance even when used with low-power pumps.

The base of the block is made of the best quality electrolytic copper possible to optimize heat transfer from the die of the GPU and memory chips to the coolant. The upper part is made of acrylic or POM Aceta l to allow the passage of the fluid to be seen. It integrates an LED lighting system. EK Recommends the use of one of its EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplates to improve the cooling of the VRM components, something especially important as it is a card with a high power consumption.

The blocks and backplates will go on sale on August 14 at the following prices:

  • EK-FC Radeon Vega € 109.95EK-FC Radeon Vega - Acetal € 109.95EK-FC Radeon Vega - Nickel € 119.95EK-FC Radeon Vega - Acetal + Nickel € 119.95EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplate - Nickel € 37.95EK-FC Radeon Vega Backplate - Black € 29.95
