EKWB has just launched a new range of water blocks. After the Velocity series, now comes the EK-Quantum Magnitude. According to the manufacturer, these new blocks will offer even better performance thanks to their new design. EKWB talks about a new distribution of the liquid inside the water block, a new internal circuit, as well as a fixing pressure adapted according to the processor.
EKWB EK-Quantum Magnitude is available in four models
EK-Quantum Magnitude water blocks are available for motherboards with Intel 115x, 20xx and AMD AM4 sockets . Each water block is available in four different finishes (full nickel, copper + acetal, nickel + plexi, and nickel + acetal). Each model can be equipped with RGB backlight if desired. The prices of this new series vary between 199.90 and 219.90 euros depending on the model chosen.
The LED strip inserted in the water block is made up of no less than 30 addressable diodes. Depending on the finish of the water block, the lighting will be towards the inside (Plexiglas) or towards the outside. Connections are made through a 3-pin D-RGB 5v connector. We must bear in mind that, if we initially opted for a block without RGB, you can update it later thanks to the accessories available in the store.

The internal circuit has been completely modified compared to previous water blocks. The dissipation surface of the water block has been increased by more than 50% compared to the previous generation. The copper base has microchannels 0.40mm wide and 0.26mm thick. Such modifications allow to optimize heat dissipation without hindering flow.
The price seems high for this new EKWB series, so we can only expect great lighting and thermal performance. You can see all the details on the official product page.
