25% of windows users plan to switch to mac

The rivalry between the two greats of computing, Apple and Microsoft, does not cease over time. So much so that a recent survey reveals that almost one in four Windows users plans to switch to Mac within the next six months.

According to the survey conducted by Verto Analytics on a universe of 6, 000 current owners of Windows computers over the age of 18 in the United States, almost 21% of current owners of Windows laptops and 25% of owners of Windows desktops They intend to switch to a Mac within the next six months.

From the opposite perspective, Verto points out that only 2% of current surveyed Mac users plan to switch to another brand of computer, either with Windows or with another operating system. That is to say, that at least 98% of the current Mac owners will continue with it or renew it by another team also from Apple.

It should be noted as a curious note that, of all the respondents, those who declared having an annual income equal to or greater than $ 150, 000 were those who showed a greater probability of changing from Windows to Mac.

Despite the fact that Microsoft has experienced a certain resurgence with more devices from the post-PC era such as the new Surface Pro and Surface Studio, it seems that the numbers do not accompany.
