Officially presented last September 2017, the Apple Watch Series 3 is the first generation of this smart watch that has an LTE version, that is, it can work independently of the iPhone to which it is linked. However, since then, its availability has been limited to a handful of countries whose number, little by little, is growing.

Apple Watch Series 3 LTE, slow pace expansion

As we have read on MacRumors, the Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE connectivity has been available since last Thursday, May 11 in four new territories. Specifically, this version of the Apple watch can already be purchased in Denmark, Sweden, India and Taiwan. Last April, the Cupertino company announced the upcoming availability of the watch in these countries and, in fact, on May 4 began to accept reservations for the LTE device.

As usual with the Apple Watch Series 3 LTE, mobile connectivity for the watch is available through the company "3" in Denmark and Sweden, while in India it is Reliance Jio and Airtel that will offer LTE support for the Apple Watch, yes, without any monthly supplement for your customers. Thus, the device will be able to use the same telephone number, data and minutes of the plan contracted by the client.

In Taiwan, the operators that offer LTE support for Apple Watch Series 3 are APT3, Chunghwa Telecom3, FarEasTone3 and Taiwan Mobile.

Apple Watch Series 3 models with LTE connectivity were first released in September 2017, but availability was initially limited to a handful of countries. From now on, Apple Watch Seroes 3 LTE can be purchased in the United States, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, India and Taiwan. No, not Spain!
