The manufacturer of motherboards and minicomputers, ASRock, has just announced that its DeskMini 310 supports ninth-generation Intel processors. The announcement refers to the 65W Intel Core LGA1151 series processors.

ASRock DeskMini 310: Power in a small size

This new version of the ASRock DeskMini, is updated with the Intel H310 Chipset, and is capable of mounting Intel's full-size coolers. It has up to 32 GB of DDR4-2666 MHZ RAM, which for a computer whose measurements are 155 x 155 x 80 mm, is quite a bit in little space. The graphic adapter is Intel UHD, so we are dealing with a computer predominantly for office use or simple tasks, but for the day-to-day it more than fulfills its function.

It also has a dual 2.5 ″ hard drive and an M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 SSD. In the rear outputs and inputs section it works just fine, as it has an HDMI, a DisplayPort and a VGA, apart from a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.1, practically for just keyboard and mouse. But on the front we find a USB 3.1 type A and another type C, so the file transfer speed will be fast. In addition, it offers a fairly low energy consumption, which at the end of the month is appreciated when the electricity bill arrives, if you are working with it for many hours.

Accessories for all tastes

ASRock offers along with the DeskMini 310 a multitude of specialized accessories, such as an internal M.2 Wi-Fi ac adapter, the possibility of acquiring it with two additional USB ports and a VESA mounting kit, in case you find it necessary to mount it somewhere and have more cleared desk. If you want, you have more information available on the official ASRock website
