The case of RAM is a rather peculiar one.

Often the oldest and best-optimized models are very popular and go through different build cycles. Meanwhile, other models with theoretically more efficient architectures are coming out, but not receiving as much attention they end up coming out for low prices.

For this reason, the jump to Samsung's A-Die seems to be a change for the better for users. These nodes are created with a process of only 10nm, unlike the 20nm process of the B-Die.

Obviously, we will have some direct improvements such as more space to mount more memory, but it also seems that we will have some problems. In this case, it seems that at first they will have to sacrifice some frequency, but we hope that it will be solved as the technology matures.

For example, it is rumored that the first models will carry up to 32 GB of RAM in a single unit without problems with frequencies around 2933 MHz . The bad comes when we see that the response time is expected to be at CL21, somewhat high for the CL17 of the current modules.
