Cemu emulator runs breath of the wild at 4k and 100fps

The group behind CEMU, a WiiU emulator, has released a new version. In this version, 1.15.2, they have managed to emulate The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at 4K and 100 FPS, an impressive figure in the case of an emulator.

In this article I am not going to go into the legal ins and outs of emulators, which are many; just appreciate the challenge of emulating specific hardware. CEMU is a WiiU emulator , a console that was first launched on the market in 2012 and is now discontinued. Well, the Team CEMU team has obtained a functional version of the WiiU emulator, which they have been working on since 2015.

In this latest version they have managed not only to emulate, but to improve Breath of the Wild, making it work at triple its FPS and eight times the native resolution of WiiU, with the possibility of doing it in different image formats.

For some time now, they have managed to make the majority of WiiU accessories work, as well as achieving a fairly high frame rate and stability. Well, with a growing list of compatible games, it requires converting the games from the disk with a modified WiiU, and decrypting the disk and its data.
