Dolphin emulator receives directx 12 to improve its performance
Dolphin is one of the most popular emulators, remember that it has the ability to run Gamecube and Wii games on our PCs, so it gives us access to a large catalog. If you are a Dolphin user, you should know that a new version with DirectX 12 support is being worked on.
User hdcmeta is working on a new version of Dolphin with support for Microsoft's new DirectX 12 API. Despite being a version still in development, it already shows very good results offering an improvement in performance compared to DX 11 of 50-60% on average, some users even report improvements of up to 180% in some specific cases.
The requirements to use this new version consist of the Windows 10 operating system and an AMD Radeon HD 7000 or higher GPU, the NvidiaGeForce GTX 600 or higher and Intel HD 4400 or higher.
