After several months steeped in rumors and speculation, the restored Galaxy Note 7 will be launched in South Korea next Friday, July 7, a device that Samsung has renamed the Galaxy Note Fan Edition that will come with a considerable price reduction and a great news, Bixby .

Galaxy Note 7 Fan Edition

Last weekend there was confirmation of the launch date thanks to a promotional poster that could be seen in South Korea. This Friday, July 7, coinciding with the start of the “Sanfermines” in Pamplona (which has nothing to do with it, but it is already a coincidence, and I am saying it because of the chupinazo), the Galaxy Note Fan Edition will be launched.

This "new" phablet from the South Korean giant Samsung is actually a restored version of the "explosive and incendiary" Galaxy Note 7 that the company had to withdraw from the market twice last year until, finally, it stopped production.

Earlier this year, after extensive research confirming a battery design flaw as the cause of the problem, Samsung confirmed its intentions to launch some of these restored devices, while components from other units would be recycled. The objective was twofold. On the one hand, contribute to environmental sustainability and, on the other hand, recover part of the investment.

Thus, next Friday, July 7, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition will be launched , a very apt name because probably only the most fans of this terminal will acquire it, especially considering that its successor will be launched in September.

The new Galaxy Note FE will arrive with a smaller battery to avoid unwanted incidents, and will also integrate the new virtual assistant Bixby. As for the price, the newspaper The Korea Herald has indicated that it will come out at a price equivalent to $ 600, that is, about $ 250 less than its original price.

At the moment, it is unknown if the Galaxy Note Fan Edition will become available in other markets, although it is expected to be released in some emerging countries such as India. What is certain is that it will not reach the United States or Canada.
