The Moto X4 is the Lenovo - Motorola smartphone that is part of the Android One program thanks to which some manufacturer brands such as Motorola or Xiaomi are responsible for manufacturing the hardware while Google supplies a pure version of the Android operating system. Unfortunately, the highly anticipated Moto X4 appears to be suffering from certain production issues that have forced delivery to its first buyers to be delayed.

The Moto X4 will wait a little longer

The new features of the Moto X4, coupled with the fact that it will be an Android One phone, has sparked the interest and enthusiasm of many users, however, this device will be delayed its launch.

Due to some production problems, customers who ordered the terminal with Android One through Project Fi (one of the many divisions of Alphabet, the parent company of Google) have been receiving a message in the middle of this week in which they were informs that it will still take approximately one to two weeks before they receive your phone.

In principle, the Moto X4 was supposed to reach its first buyers this week. Instead, the new shipping dates are between October 18 and 25, so that the first units will not reach their owners until approximately October 27.

For those who are not familiar with the Moto X4, it is a terminal that has a 5.2-inch 1080p screen inside which houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor at a speed of 2.2 GHz accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable storage. As an operating system, it comes with Android 7.1 Nougat with a promise to update to Android Oreo at the end of 2017. Regarding its price, it has a starting cost of $ 399 in the United States.
