The new thief announced for new generation PCs and consoles

Garret finally returns after nine long years. Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have confirmed that we will play the elusive thief of the Thief saga again in 2014 for new generation PCs and consoles.

Until now, numerous rumors have emerged about this new installment, known as " Thief 4 ". Among the details that the developer has given it is known that it will be a reboot of the first Thief and that our enemy will be The Baron, a tyrant who controls the city. For them we can complete the missions in a variety of ways and with freedom to move. Stealth, as is normal in the saga, will be a primary factor to advance without being seen.

It is difficult after seeing the images not to compare it with the recent Dishonored due to the similarity in the setting. It is normal as the first Thief era frame and many stealth games have drank from it.

It is curious, therefore, to know that during the development of the game EIDOS Montreal I try to get closer to the Assassin's Creed style of play by placing the camera in the third person (only at certain times) and including climbing buildings but in the end it ended up discarding the idea.
