It seems that Amazon has decided to raise the price of Amazon Prime between 20 and 40 euros. The decision has already been made, although the exact amount of the price increase is not yet known. It is a rise that can be excessive, especially if it is finally 40 euros.

When it arrived in Spain, then even as Amazon Premium in 2011, the service cost 14.95 euros. In 2015 it was raised to 19.95 euros a year, a slight rise and that did not change too much. The main reason is that the Spanish subsidiary does not have as much income as other countries. So Amazon wants a higher price that is close to that of these markets.
