ASUS surprised by showing off its new Ryuo Liquid Cooler for AIO CPUs at Computex this year. Following their unveiling last June, today we see Ryuo 120 and 240 models have made their way onto the UK's most popular retail pages, including Overclockers UK .

ASUS ROG Ryuo available for pre-sale in UK

The Ryuo series is based on an AIO design by Asetek, presumably from Generation 6 as used by other Asetek customers, including CORSAIR and EVGA, with a 120 or 240mm radiator.

ASUS tries to differentiate this series by including a 1.77-inch "LiveDash" full-color OLED display on top of the cooler block, with a USB connector that will help configure the display and other cooler settings through a software driver. The OLED display can be used to display system statistics, cooler settings or, if you want, even a static GIF or custom image.

The other differentiation comes in the form of ROG-designed fans, which claim to further improve cooling. The Ryuo 120 and 240mm models can be ordered in advance for £ 129.95 and £ 149.95 respectively, with prices including VAT.

By comparison, the CORSAIR H100i PRO and NZXT Kraken X52 240mm coolers currently cost £ 114.95 and £ 124.99, respectively, in the same store.

Both ROG Ryuo series coolers support a wide variety of sockets, including AM4, sTR4, LGA 115x, LGA 1366, LGA 2011 (-3), and LGA 2066 . There is no official release date at this time, nor prices for other regions.
