The new version is now available to users of the Windows Insiders program in the fast ring, and will be available for the slow ring and Release Preview shortly. Sources familiar with Microsoft's plans have told The Verge that this new build 17134 has been marked as the final version of the update. Microsoft has not yet officially named this update, even though the Spring Creators Update has been used multiple times. Finally it seems that Microsoft will choose "Windows 10 April 2018 Update" as the final name of Redstone 4.
The delay in the arrival of this update would be due to reliability problems that could have caused the appearance of BSOD cases, says Dona Sakar from Microsoft. Instead of creating a cumulative update package to fix these issues, Redmond's have decided to create a new build with the fixes included. Microsoft has not disclosed the exact reason for the crash error or why it was discovered at the last minute.
