Microsoft has shown the packaging of its new Xbox Adaptive Controller, which was originally announced in May. It is a product focused on people with disabilities, so the details have been taken care of even in the product box.

Microsoft has said that the packaging design for this new Xbox Adaptive Controller has challenged everything it knew about packaging a product, and feedback from beta testers was key to the process. Packaging has been thought to avoid the need to resort to teeth, as the company claims that people often resort to using their teeth when they cannot open a product box.

To avoid this, a loop system has been placed, which you will find in all the packaging, both in the box of the product itself and in the shipping box. This includes the tear strip in the shipping package, and a seal break tag on the product box that uses two loops. According to Microsoft, there are five loops in total to make opening the package easier. The presence of an open cavity under the controller in the retail box is also highlighted , with the intention of providing multiple ways to get the product out of the box. Lastly, the box itself has a low center of gravity, stabilizing the user experience.

The shipping boxes and the product's own boxes are designed to be deployed as easily as possible and without difficult-to-reach areas that you have to reach.
