France already tried last year to introduce its own Google Rate. Spain seems determined to introduce the aforementioned rule, with a 3% tax. Other countries in Europe, such as Italy or the United Kingdom, also work at this rate, although they surely have obstacles, such as American threats to new tariffs on these countries, which seek to put pressure on them to back down.

We will see if Spain finally introduces this Google Rate. This is something we heard a long time ago, but it has still not come, although it seems that this week could be decisive for its final introduction. What also generates curiosity or tension is to see if the American government will announce measures in response to this rate.
