We are a little and nothing from the new adventure of Lara Croft, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and it has finally been revealed what are your minimum and recommended requirements to be able to enjoy it on PC.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider - Minimum and Recommended Requirements

Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics, and Eidos-Montreal have revealed the system requirements for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which appear to be slightly higher than those of its predecessors.

Minimum requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 7 64-bit Processor: Intel or AMD i3-3220 equivalent Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GTX 660 / GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon HD 7770 Storage: 40 GB available space

Recommended Requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit Processor: Intel Core i7 4770K, 3.40 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 3.20 GHz Memory: 16 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480, 8GB Storage: 40 GB of available space

On the CPU side, most of the game's hardware recommendations have seen a generational upgrade when compared to Rise of the Tomb Raider, with the minimum CPU requirement increasing from an Intel Core i3-2100 to an i3-3220. The same thing happens with the recommended requirements, going from an Intel i7-3770K to an i7-4770K or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is requiring a minimum of 8GB of memory, and Square Enix recommends that users have a total of 16GB of RAM. As for the GPU, things are still similar to the previous ones, requiring at least a GTX 660 / GTX 1050 or Radeon HD 7770.

As for the recommended ones, we see that an 8 GB Radeon RX 480 graphics card or a 6 GB GeForce GTX 1060 is required.

The game will go on sale on September 14 on Steam.
