Let's talk about the Corsair RAPIDFIRE K70 / K65 RGB and K70 RGB
Corsair has announced the release of its new K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE, K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE and K70 RAPIDFIRE mechanical keyboards, the first in the world to include the new Cherry MX Speed switch , 40% faster than any standard Cherry MX key switch for give players an advantage over their rivals and it is positioned as the best mechanical keyboard on the market.
The new Corsair RAPIDFIRE keyboards are built in a design based on an aircraft-grade anodized brushed aluminum chassis and with the all-new Cherry MX Speed switches, the fastest available today and offering an ultra-fast actuation point 1.2 mm and an actuation force of only 45 grams. Some characteristics that make these switches are ideal for the most demanding gamers and that will make you the fastest on the battlefield to claim victory.
All three keyboards include LED backlighting, the K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE and K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE models include an individual RGB LED backlight system for each of the keys, and this system is customizable in color, pattern, and effect. On the other hand, the K70 RAPIDFIRE model is one step below its older brothers and offers LED lighting available only in red.
The three Corsair RAPIDFIRE keyboards include advanced specific circuits inside to avoid any null keystroke and detect when several keys are being pressed at the same time to ensure that each key count, we are therefore faced with an advanced anti-ghosting system that will allow us to press Multiple keys at once without problems. The bundle includes replacement interchangeable keys designed specifically for FPS (WASD) and MOBA (QWERDF) games, along with a key removal tool that makes it easy to remove keys for replacement or maintenance.
Gamers tend to use many peripherals and often the USB ports of the equipment are scarce, Corsair knows this and that is why it has provided its RAPIDFIRE keyboards with the USB 2.0 port to connect various peripherals to the computer and be able to free up a greater number of ports. East. In addition, a volume selector and a removable soft-touch wrist rest are also included for maximum wearing comfort.

Interview with Jorge Rodríguez from Corsair Spain
Q: Why is this keyboard faster on keystrokes? How are the CHERRY MX SPEED buttons different from the rest?
A: The recently launched RAPIDFIRE range of mechanical keyboards include the new and exclusive Cherry MX Speed Switches that have a actuation distance of only 1.2mm compared to regular Cherry switches that operate at 2mm. Therefore, we are talking about a keyboard almost twice as fast as the rest of its competitors. In certain games, speed does matter and those players who opt for these keyboards will definitely have a competitive advantage over their rivals.
Q: And that speed, could it not generate erroneous pulsations?
A: It could indeed happen, perhaps with other keyboards, but thanks to the null keystroke eradication technology included in this keyboard and the rest of Corsair's mechanical keyboards, this is ruled out, which gives you a combination of unprecedented speed and precision..
Q: It seems to be a keyboard designed for gaming, gamers need the keyboard to be strong enough to withstand long hours of use. Can you tell us more about him? For example…. its construction materials and its resistance?
A: As you say, this keyboard is specifically designed by and for gamers, demanding players who spend several hours a week on the keyboard. Something that characterizes all the keyboards of the K70, K65 and K95 families, including the new RAPIDFIRE, and what also sets them apart from many of their competitors, is that they have a brushed aluminum structure and aerospace quality, which makes them on absolutely robust and reliable keyboards for long hours of gaming. Some other notable features are the dedicated multimedia keys and the USB port included in this new family.
Q: A product for such a demanding public, generally needs behind-the-scenes software that allows configurations, profiles, macros and, in short, to customize as much as possible, what can you tell us about the software?
WE RECOMMEND YOU Corsair Carbide 678C Review in Spanish (Full Review)A: The software that comes with Corsair keyboards is very powerful software called CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) that offers multiple functions. The first is the creation of profiles, these are associated with a certain game or program, customizing the light effects, settings and specific actions. It also allows us to create modes within a profile, different modes can be configured. For example, modes can be configured for each character that we use within a game, depending on their abilities.
Actions allow us to automate certain actions in your programs or games, assigning keys to create actions such as sending text, starting a stopwatch, launching a macro to, for example, automate some mouse movements and clicks… While light effects: can be configure light effects, but also associate them with actions, even to differentiate profiles or modes.
Q: Aesthetics also count and I think the word "RGB" means something in CORSAIR, right?
A: As many people know, RGB is an acronym for Red Green Blue (Red, Green and Blue) which are the primary colors for video applications. This means that, from them, the rest of the color spectrum can be formed. Corsair keyboards with RGB switches offer all that spectrum of colors on each key individually for absolutely incredible eye candy and aesthetics and hence we wanted to name the family that way.
Q: What would be the range of RAPIDFIRE that CORSAIR has launched and its recommended prices? When can we find them in stores?
A: Today, the family is made up of the K70 RAPIDFIRE, K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE and K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE keyboards with recommended retail prices of 139.90 Euros, 149.90 Euros and 179.90 Euros respectively. Absolutely competitive prices and more, taking into account the great novelties that this family brings. As of today they are available to the public in different collaborating stores, exclusively Versus Gamers with the RGB version while Coolmod and LifeInformatica the normal version.
