Evga announces the new 550w and 650w supernova g2 power supplies
EVGA has announced the incorporation of new power supplies to its SuperNOVA G2 series, specifically, it has announced two new 550W and 650W models with top quality components, as it could not be otherwise in the prestigious brand.
The new EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W and 650W arrive with 80 PLUS Gold energy certification, ensuring 90% efficiency for lower energy consumption and less heat generation. They feature a completely modular design for cleaner mounting and better airflow in our computers. They are made of high-quality components including Japanese capacitors for unsurpassed reliability and durability.
Its cooling is carried out by the ECO Control Fan system technology that keeps the fan off until reaching a medium load, thus maintaining a quieter working environment while the temperature remains controlled (<45ºC). Both sources carry a 7 year warranty, all electrical protections (OVP, UVP, OCP, OPP and SCP) and compatibility with NVIDIA SLI and AMD Crossfire configurations.
